Cards

  • Connectors

    Cards

All notifications and search results are organized into Cards that feature only the most important information prominently and easy to see at a glance. Clicking a card will send the user to the application the data originated from.

  • Cards from all sources

    Integrate siloed systems

Cards can show data from many sources through easy-to-setup Connectors. Connectors exist to many cloud and on-premise systems, which makes Cards your single, central information stream for real-time updates of any of your corporate data.

  • Swipe to dismiss

    Swipe to dismiss

Swiping a card with your finger will hide it until its status has changed and it once again appears at the top of your stack.

Swipes are real-time, that means once you swipe it on your phone the Card instantly disappears on your other sessions, too.

  • Action Cards

    Action Cards

Many times we face a decision it is just one of two alternatives: Accept/decline, Open/Ignore, Approve/Deny. So for many workflows and requests, Cards can show these Actions right built-into them, so you can take action without leaving the screen.

  • Status Cards

    Status Cards

Status cards gather a quantity from an external system, e.g. number of unresolved tickets. If the number changes, the Card will refresh (or re-appear if previously dismissed).

If a Card's source changes while you look at it, it will simply update within a few seconds – no page refresh required.

  • Status Card

    Stream Cards

A Stream monitors a continous stream of events. It will recognize once there are new events that the user hasn't seen yet, and trigger a new Card.

  • Rule-based notifications

    Rule-based Cards

You can configure to trigger a card when a certain event has been observed in a connected Source, e.g. new appointment, new email with a certain label, etc.

  • Tolerance alert

    Tolerance Alert Cards

Users can receive a Card once certain limits have been overstepped or margins have been exceeded.

Administrators can define either define a set value or green, yellow and red zones within which the value may fluctuate. For example visitor numbers to a website change constantly, so you would only want to be notified when the numbers change from 'green' to 'yellow'.

  • Status Card

    Card Anatomy

Card layouts follow logic guidelines that keep common elements in fixed places while creating other areas that can be customized for specific Cards.

  • Status Card

    Liquid Templates

  • Audiences

    Audiences

Cards have audiences that are based on employee function. That way employees from Sales will automatically be subscribers of certain Cards (e.g. open leads, sales target) while employees from Finance will see other cards by default (e.g. quarterly earnings, invoice reminders).

The same feature also lets administrators restrict Cards so they're not visible to certain Audiences.

  • Card Store

    Cards Store

You can enable users to subscribe to certain Cards using the My Cards Store. They may have some pre-selected by default based on their Audience, while others can be added or removed based on the user’s preference.

Bots

  • Voice Recognition

    Voice Recognition

Sometimes keyboards are a hassle, in the car or when you walk down the street. Through Text-to-Speech you can easily input short commands or entire sentences. All taking into consideration your tongue and accent.

Works with Google Chrome on Android, iOS or desktops.
    Requires an active internet connection.
  • Natural Language Processing

    Natural Language Processing (NLP)

By dicing the input into seperate words the Search figures out certain metadata, such as what was the source, or which date range did you ask for.

For example a search for “extension michael” would only search in the employee phonebook. Or when you search for “Leads last week” it will recognize that you want leads filtered for the date range covering last week.

This makes it convenient for the user, as they don’t have to remember any commands and can just say everything in one gulp.

  • AI Engine

    Artificial Intelligence Engine

Understanding the user verbally is halfway to understanding like a human. That second half is taken over by an AI engine comes which recognizes the intent the user has, for example 'looking something up' or 'sending a request' and then directs the search or workflow accordingly.

  • Customizable Commands

    Customizable Commands

Administrators can teach Now Assistant to equate various words. For example you may have an Intranet called "ConnectLink", then Now Assistant would learn to understand both terms interchangeably.

Custom commands can also be used to create certain filters, for example "phonebook Henry" would search in a specified Employee Directory.

  • Questions and Answers

    Answers questions

The Assistant can retrieve specific information. For example by saying "show me my open cases" it will carry out a very specific and personal Search in the correct source and display one or more Cards that are layouted to show the key information at a glance.

  • Request Fulfillment

    Fulfills requests and commands

With the Assistant you can take action on the go. For example you can ask to "create a meeting", "request time-off next week" or "post a message to Slack" and it will fulfill the request either entirely or kick off the process by opening the corresponding app.

  • Spoken Feedback

    Voice Feedback

If a sufficiently confident answer has been found to the user’s question, the Now Assistant can give spoken feedback back to the user. This further reduces screen time and makes the Assistant a truly hands-free digital companion.

Search

  • Multi Search

    Multi Search

Every database, every API, every mail and every byte that is connected to the server will be searched through swiftly and without friction. This makes data migration a thing of the past! Instead everything can remain where it belongs, with all established permission structures remaining intact.

  • Parallel Processing

    Parallel Processing

We all have come to expect Google-like speed from Search, but older systems are not up to the job and could slow a cross-system search down. That’s where Parallel Processing shines, by executing multiple independent searches at the same time and delivering results as they come in. To save battery life, searches are handled on the server where processing power is abundant.

  • Secure Search

    Secure Search

Search is secure, that means items a user isn't permitted to see in the integrated source also won't be shown to them in Search.

Search can actually make outdated sources more secure by appyling it's own permission profiles to it, thus vetting legacy systems for the use on mobile.

  • Save Search

    Save Searches

Users can save any Search term they frequently search for. This will show the Search as a seperate App inside the Main Menu from Now Workplace.

Platform Features

Now Assistant uses the Mobility Portal Server as the underlying architecture to facilitate the exchange of information between the different services you use in your organization.
  • HTML5

    Open Standards

We’re backing HTML 5 + CSS 3, use Web Sockets and the open-source Polymer Front-end from Google. But we’re client-agnostic and can supply REST APIs to most front-end frameworks. That ensures security of your investment for years to come.

  • Responsive Design

    Responsive App Design

From the tiny Google Glass UI to a full-blown desktop computer the Now Assistant are using a responsive layout to adapt dynamically to the available screen size, offering slick interactions regardless of device size.

  • Connectors

    Hybrid Power

The back-end unites data sources from the internet (i.e. Cloud or SaaS services) and intranet (i.e. Servers, databases, integrations) and fuses them all together, as though they are all part of the same architecture.

  • Low bandwidth

    Low bandwidth optimized

Mobility Portal is packed with modern tech to make web apps feel as spritely as native ones. WebSockets help reduce bandwidth and are light on your phone’s battery, too. Offline mode offers reliable connectivity even on a sketchy connection.

  • Connectors

    Connectors

Now Assistant connects to all your existing services you use around the office. It can be consumer services such as Dropbox, business applications such a CRM system and they can both be either installed on-premise, like SharePoint, or hosted in the Cloud, like Salesforce. To top it off we also integrate any relational database, so we really do mean all your existing data.
